I wanted to take this time to let y'all know that I appreciate you! And by 'you,' I mean those who regularly read this blog.
It's not the 'cutest blog on the block,' or the most creative, but I feel it does the job ;)
(And if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!)
In our hustle and bustle during this Christmas season, don't forget to stop once or twice and remember why we celebrate this day...
Here is a really cute and touching poem by iMOM:
‘Twas Mom’s Night Before Christmas
Posted on December 21, 2012 by iMOM
‘Twas the Friday before Christmas and all through the house, mother was scurrying, just like a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, but no one could find any clean underwear!
The children were nestled, but not in their beds. They were begging for one more cookie instead.
And mom in a hurry, still needing to wrap, went looking for dad who was taking a nap.
But nary a word of frustration she said, she leaned down and kissed him, on top of his head.
Then she hurried her little ones into their rooms, and tucked them all in, and prayed, and then, zoom!
She dashed down the stairs and completed her tasks, as one who sees light at the end, “Ahhh,” at last.
Her work now all done, she stepped out in the night, and saw a bright star, a beckoning light.
Then her heart was so full, as she looked up above, for all that she did, was done with great love.
Show your family some Christmas morning love!
